Ashfield Business Chamber Inc (INC9889577)

Ashfield Business Chamber came into being on 18 June 2008 in response to the need for a business chamber that was truly representative of the Ashfield Local Government Area (LGA)

Membership of the Chamber is open to all individuals and businesses that have substantial business dealings/operations within the Ashfield LGA.

Ashfield Business Chamber will provide a strong link between local businesses and Ashfield Council. In order to promote and foster the growth of the Ashfield Business Chamber, Ashfield Council has created a number of incentives through the Ashfield Business Directory to make membership of the business chamber a very attractive proposition.

Membership Fees & Special Offers

Businesses can join the Chamber for an annual fee of $55.00. All local businesses (defined as those wholly or partially within the boundaries of the Ashfield LGA) are entitled to a free listing in the Ashfield Business Directory regardless of whether or not they are a member of the Chamber.

For $165.00 per year local businesses may upgrade their basic listing to a full page text listing. If the business wishes to join the Chamber at the same time then this fee of $165.00 will cover the cost of the full page text listing, one year membership in the Chamber and entitle the business to discounted tickets for the Ashfield Business Achiever Awards’ gala ball.

For $275 per year local businesses may upgrade their basic listing to a full page text listing with photographs. If the business wishes to join the Chamber at the same time then this fee of $275 will cover the cost of the full page text listing with photographs, one year membership in the Chamber, admission for two to two Business breakfasts and entitle the business to discounted tickets for the Ashfield Business Achiever Awards’ gala ball.

Any surplus from the operation of Ashfield Business will be invested in community economic development within the Ashfield LGA.

Chamber’s Goals

Ashfield Business Chamber in partnership with Ashfield Council will work to improve the profitability of local businesses by taking advantage of, and creating, opportunities which stimulate economic growth. Initially this will be done through Ashfield Business Directory, Special Events & Festivals, Business Breakfasts, Business Skills Development Workshops and recognition of high achievers through the Ashfield Business Achiever Awards.
